Thursday, December 7, 2017, 7 PM at Christ Church in Mount Pleasant

If your holiday spirit needs a jump start there is no better place for an electrifying performance than at Christ Church. The Southcoast Symphony Orchestra, Director Ron Mendola and the Christ Church Choir under Lorna Barker warmly invite you to join us for selections from the glorious Vivaldi “Gloria”, twice the fun with both Prokofiev’s “Troika” and Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride”, the iconic Greensleeves of Vaughn-Williams and a tuneful Christmas Sing Along with the Christ Church Choir under Lorna Barker. We guarantee you a Christmas surprise or two as well!

Established in 1995, the Southcoast Symphony Orchestra is composed of professional and amateur musicians from Charleston and the Lowcountry.  To promote the art of music and maximize accessibility, these concerts are provided at little or no cost to the Charleston community and it surrounds.
Under the musical direction of Ron Mendola, we strive to bring his wonderful programming to life for our audiences.
Our mission is simple, to provide symphony orchestra concerts to the public and provide a creative outlet for local musicians to share their talents with the community. We are firm believers in the power of music: that it is has the power to unite people and bring communities together.
